Sarah Caputo

Sarah Caputo

Sarah started training and competing in sports at age eight and hasn’t stopped since. A competitive figure skater, she turned to running in college. Post-college she balanced long hours on Wall Street with marathons and Ironmans and was a sponsored triathlete. While a student at Columbia Business School, Sarah taught cycling and running classes in New York City. That’s when she realized how much she loved sharing her passion for fitness with others. Now the mother of two young girls (ages 2 and 4 months), Sarah brings her boundless energy and enthusiasm to CoreMotion. Sara’s thrilled to be an instructor in her community and we’re thrilled to bring you her breath of experience and deep understanding of top-level training!

Kacie Devaney

Kacie Devaney

Kacie Devaney, a certified Pilates instructor and dancer who has also studied yoga for ten years, comes to CoreMotion from New York City. Before moving to New York, Kacie worked as a lifestyle coordinator, Pilates instructor and dance teacher in San Francisco. Kacie holds a degree in Comparative Literature and Dance from the American University of Paris, France. While living in France, Kacie taught Pilates at one of the most respected studios in Paris. When Kacie’s not teaching, she works as a playwright, actor, songwriter, and choreographer. Kacie believes the first step towards a healthy mind and body is a positive attitude—everything after that is attainable. Brimming with creative energy, Kacie thoughtfully constructs workouts that are unique, challenging and tons of fun!

Janette Dutt

Janette Dutt

Janette brings top-level experience in group exercise and high intensity training to CoreMotion. She provides a truly unique, fun, and energy-driven workout while cultivating a sense of community within her classes. AFAA certified, HITT certified and a certified spin instructor, she is a seasoned fitness instructor who loves what she does and it shows. Whether you’re lunging, planking, twisting or pulsing, Janette and her megawatt smile will keep you motivated both mentally and physically. Janette lives by these words: “If you still look cute after your workout, you didn’t train hard enough.”

Barbara Lincoln

Barbara Lincoln

Our in-house nutritionist combines a passion for healthy eating with a love of fitness that began in high school where she ran cross country and winter and spring track. As an adult she has run four marathons and countless half marathons. She is also a Jivamukti-certified yoga instructor, having completed their rigorous 1000-hour yoga teacher training in New York City. She is also Level One Pilates Matt certified. She now adds the Megaformer to her impressive teaching and training credentials. Barbara is living proof of how CoreMotion can enhance an already challenging running and training regimen. Barbara leads by example. She firmly believes that fitness and nutrition are the keys to a happy, healthy life. She is beyond thrilled to be a member of the CoreMotion team and we are beyond thrilled to have her!

Azeem Rahman

Azeem Rahman

Azeem comes to CoreMotion with an extreme passion for helping others achieve and exceed their fitness goals. Highly skilled as an instructor, Azeem motivates, educates and encourages his clients to achieve optimal fitness through positive reinforcement and a focus on the fundamentals. Azeem has worked as a personal trainer, a strength and conditioning and cardiovascular and endurance coach, a group spin instructor, and a recreation specialist. He holds International Sports Sciences Association certifications in Personal Fitness Training and Nutrition. Knowledgeable and intuitive, Azeem promises to bring the best YOU out of you!

Jose Sepulveda

Jose Sepulveda

With a passion for intelligent movement and fitness, Jose comes to CoreMotion after teaching Pilates, TRX and other group class methodologies for more than 4 years. Trained in New York City by one of the country’s leading experts in Contemporary Pilates, Jose has a vast knowledge of the body, how it works and how to maximize its mobility. He studied Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan and has been seen across the country in television shows, musicals and films. His major fitness breakthrough came after a dance injury left him bed-ridden for months. Determined not to have surgery, he dedicated his recovery time to Pilates, a very humbling experience that helped him make a full recovery. He loves to challenge and inspire others through fitness and music and believes that working smarter is better than working harder.

Debbie Hollis

Debbie Wilhelmy

Debbie comes to CoreMotion with a wealth of experience in fitness, wellness, rehabilitation and nutrition. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and has spent fifteen years as a personal trainer and wellness instructor at the Saugatuck Rowing Club. Debbie also has significant expertise in corporate wellness and holds numerous certifications, including in TRX and as a physical therapist aide. A competitive rower, Debbie now brings her hallmark enthusiasm and positive energy to CoreMotion. We feel so lucky that Debbie has chosen to share her drive, knowledge and passion with us!

Elise Zealand

Elise Zealand

Since being a competitive cheerleader in high school, Elise has had a lifelong love affair with fitness and dance. She taught group step, funk and dance aerobics classes in upstate New York before becoming a lawyer in New York City. Even during long days as a young associate, Elise continued to run and take spin, yoga, dance and barre classes. After her son was born, Elise left law to focus on her family (which includes her two beautiful stepchildren) and pursue writing. Throughout it all, fitness remained a constant feature in her life. She was introduced to the Megaformer in New York and is passionate about bringing the workout to her friends in Fairfield. As an instructor, she’ll put her cheerleading training to use, providing constant encouragement to keep her clients moving toward their personal best. Elise is the owner of CoreMotion.
